About me
My name is Alex Goddard I am an easy going ordinary down to earth man. I live in Reading in the county of Berkshire in England about 35 miles west of London. I have been happily married for 25 years to Marilyn and we have three boys/men, Greg, Luke and Dean. They're all over the age of 18. I have a tortoise, 2 cats and would like the lifestyles they have.
Just a few short years ago
I am the youngest of 4 brothers and 1 sister. I had a happy up bringing just like any ordinary boy would have. I had an average education although it probably could have been better. I did manage to leave school with an O level in metal work and the basic A B C and 1 2 3. However, this did not stop me from achieving good things in my life.
When I left school I went straight into full time work with a company called suncell. They specialized in applying a heat reflecting solar film on windows to stop the heat, glare and UV. I worked at suncell for 4 years and then I was made redundant. My next job was working for Gillette, that’s when my brother John offered to teach me the skills of floor and wall tiling, working as a self employed person. I will always be grateful to him for giving me that opportunity. I left my brother after 2 years and went out on my own. After several years I teamed up with a bathroom company in London called Pipedreams, where I worked on up-market bathrooms for the rich and famous. From this I developed my skills working with natural stone, such as marble, sandstone and mosaic
Over the last 9 years I have been totally rebuilding our bungalow. Now it is almost finished I can slow down and get back to some of my interests and hobbies, such as fishing, metal detecting, gardening, bike riding and spending time with Marilyn and the family. I would also like to see more of the world. I could go on but the to-do list is too long to mention
That’s when I started to look on the internet for other ways to make money. I found there was so much hype and rubbish on the internet, but all of my research paid off.
I discovered Stuart Ross and he talked about YourNetBiz, the turn-key marketing group and making money on the internet by leveraging it from the comfort of your home, using marketing systems. He went on to talk about how finding a mentor that will teach you how to put these systems together to make streams of income on the internet on auto pilot, is important. He also explained that a mentor can teach anybody who wants to learn how to put these business systems together can do so. I did not have a clue what he was talking about at first, but I was interested in the working from home and the word ‘money’.
I did take the time to do more research and this is what I found. There we’re people on the internet that had no previous knowledge or skill, but we’re able to gain it and use it to make money by leveraging the internet, to build a profitable business online. With the right mentor to help, support and train you, you can too.
But what is leverage?
Leverage is doing more and more with less and less.
One of the most powerful concepts in the world today in business and on the internet is to leverage your time and effort. And let’s face it we only have 24 hours a day and we can only realistically work 8 to 10+ hours out of 24, we do need to sleep.
We can be taught to LEVERAGE time and set up “systems” that run almost on their own, there's virtually no limit to how much you can earn if you are willing to put the time and effort into this business. So, the true secret to living a better life for some of us is not to get a great job and work for someone else, but to find a mentor to teach you how to leverage your life with the aid of the internet. This has been made more and more possible by having the internet at our finger tips.
